10TH ANNUAL MIDWEST CONFERENCE ON CHINESE THOUGHT

University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign
“Ethics and Society: The Revival of Confucianism in Contemporary China”

Paper abstracts are invited for the 9th annual Midwest Conference on Chinese Thought, co-sponsored by the Department of Philosophy at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, where the event will be held from April 25-27, 2014.  Papers on Chinese philosophical or religious traditions, history, language, culture, society and politics are presented at this conference each year.  We invite the participation of both professors and graduate students, both inside and from outside the midwest of the United States.  Please email abstracts including a paper title and description of no more than 300 words to Douglas Berger (dberger@siu.edu) by January 31st, 2014.  You will be notified regarding the possible acceptance of your abstract by February 15th.  Current board members of the MCCT are:
