Neo-Confucianism Seminar this Friday

The next session of the Columbia University Seminar on Neo-Confucian Studies will convene Friday, December 6, 2013 from 3:30 to 5:30pm in the Komoda Room of the Heyman Center for the Humanities at Columbia University.

Our presenter is Ellen Neskar of Sarah Lawrence College.  Her paper is titled “Dreams, Court Cases, and Confucians.”  Please contact the organizers for a copy.

All are welcome to attend.   Please feel free to forward this message to interested colleagues.  Please join us immediately after the seminar for dinner at Columbia Cottage restaurant, which is located on the corner of Amsterdam and 111th Streets.

Here is our tentative schedule for the remainder of the 2013-2014 academic year.  There is no January session.

Mar. 7, 2014.  Ari Borrell.  Group discussion and translation of selected Chinese texts.  3:30 to 5:30pm, Komoda Room, Heyman Center.

Apr. 4, 2014.  Ari Borrell.  Group discussion and translation of selected Chinese texts.  3:30 to 5:30 pm, Common Room, Heyman Center.
