The UM Macao PhD Scholarship provides each awardee with a monthly stipend of MOP 20,000 (approx. GBP 2,000) and a conference or research-related travel allowance up to MOP 10,000 (approx. GBP 1,000) per academic year for a period up to 4 years. Tuition fees are not included.
The UM Macao PhD Assistantship provides each recipient with a starting monthly stipend of MOP 12,500 (approx. GBP 1,250), this increases to MOP 14,000 (approx. GBP 1,400) after successful defence of the thesis proposal. Tuition fees are not included.
Low cost post-graduate housing is available on campus.
