International Conference on “Nothingness in Deliberation”

We are pleased to announce the Routledge International Conference on “Nothingness in Deliberation” which will be held virtually at 19:00 PM to 22:00 PM (Beijing Time), May 22nd, July 10th, and July 17th, 2021.

The Routledge series of Political Theories in East Asian Contexts has been based in the Department of Philosophy (Zhuhai), Sun Yat-sen University, since 2016. And the Routledge International Conference is scheduled for the chosen book projects for the series publication. The series aims to shed light on the essential theoretical issues spanning East Asia by situating them within cross-cultural frameworks.
The conference of “Nothingness in Deliberation” explores the concepts of ‘nothingness’ and their roles in the construction of common values or common good through any form of shared deliberation. The contributions in this conference will be edited by David CHAI (CUHK) and Jun-Hyeok KWAK (SYSU) and will be published as a volume of the Routledge series, Political Theories in East Asian Context (Series Editor: Jun-Hyeok KWAK).
