The School of Culture, History and Language in the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific is unique in the world, focusing on deep, cutting-edge research and teaching about the people, language and land of Asia and the Pacific.

The Department of Chinese Studies in the School seeks to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (Level B/C), for a fixed-term period of three years to teach undergraduate courses in Classical Chinese and Chinese Philosophy and contribute to teaching survey courses on Chinese society, culture and history. The successful applicant will possess near-native fluency in English and Chinese and have demonstrated experience in teaching classical Chinese to undergraduate students.

Applicants should also possess a PhD in Chinese Studies and a track record of research excellence in Chinese Studies.
