Duties : Undertake active research in one of the core areas: China Studies, Environmental Policy, Politics, Public Management or Urban Studies. The appointee will be required to undertake some tutorial duties.  The appointment will be for 12 months with possibility of extension.

Requirements : A PhD in a pertinent field. For post (1), specialization in comparative philosophy and command of at least one East Asian language are required. Preference will be given to those working in Korean and comparative philosophy, broadly construed. A sophisticated command of Classical Chinese is highly desirable. For post (2), research and teaching match in one of the other areas: China Studies, Environmental Policy, Politics, Public Management or Urban Studies is required. Evidence of teaching ability including student evaluations should be provided if available.

Salary and Conditions of Service
Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
