  1. I would have liked to go to this conference, especially for the people in it; but I had a conflict.

    I would love to hear a highlight or two from it – especially, ideas that are intrinsically philosophically interesting (rather than just historically interesting, or interesting because they help us define the philosophical identity of the tradition).
