Soon-to-be-former ACPA President JeeLoo Liu writes with news of the ACPA election. Congratulations to the new board!

Dear Colleagues,

We have concluded our bi-annual election and I am pleased to announce that Dr. Tongdong Bai has been elected President of the ACPA, Dr. Huaiyu Wang elected Vice President, and Dr. Steven Geisz Secretary/Treasurer of the ACPA.  I wish to congratulate them and also to thank them for taking up the responsibility. I am sure they will continue to make ACPA an active and productive organization.  Their term will begin on January 1, 2012.

I also want to thank you all for your encouragement and support for the past six years. I will move on to play a role on the APA Committee for the Status of Asian Philosophers and Asian Philosophy. My first organized session is entitled “Conceptions of Nothingness in Asian Philosophy,” to appear at APA Pacific 2012. I welcome good ideas for great sessions in the years to come.
