The International Society for Comparative Studies of Chinese and Western Philosophy is happy to announce that they are inviting scholars to submit proposals for individual papers to be included in a potential ISCWP group session at the 2024 APA Pacific Division meeting. This meeting is going to be held at Hilton Portland, Portland, Oregon from March 20th to 23rd 2024, and is anticipated to be an in-person event.  They welcome submissions that engage with topics aligning with the comparative study of Chinese and Western philosophy. Please read below for information.

1.Please submit a concise abstract of 300-500 words via email to three members of the Board of Directors by October 10, 2023. Submissions received after this deadline will not be considered. We realize that this is very short notice due to a delay in the Board transition, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

2.If your paper is selected, a complete version must be submitted at least 30 days before the meeting (by February 20, 2024). Papers should be written in English and not exceed 4000 words. Each presentation will be allotted approximately 20 minutes.

3.ISCWP membership is not mandatory for consideration or acceptance, but we kindly request that you become a current ISCWP member by the time we submit the session information to the APA.
