Review of Goldin, Confucianism

A glowing review by Yu Kam-por of Paul Goldin’s book Confucianism (Acumen, 2011) has just appeared. Among other things, Yu highlight’s Goldin’s discussion of “shu.” Goldin’s book concentrates on the classical period, concluding with a short though informative chapter on “Neo-Confucianism and Confucianism Today.”

  1. I ordered the book on the basis of the review. Still, I’m curious what others at this blog have (or will have) to say about the book.

  2. Manyul Im says:

I’m supposed to review the book for Dao; should have it done by November-ish. Guess I’ll have to read it.
