East Asian Religions Job

The DAVIDSON COLLEGE Department of Religion invites applications for a
full-time, tenure-track position in Religions of East Asia, to begin
August 1, 2014. Qualifications for this position include a Ph.D., an
ability to teach introductory and advanced courses in the religions of
East Asia, familiarity with the methods and perspectives of religious
studies, and willingness to participate in interdisciplinary ventures
of the department and college.


Davidson is a highly-selective, independent liberal arts college in
Davidson, North Carolina, close to the city of Charlotte. The College
has graduated 23 Rhodes Scholars and is consistently ranked among the
top liberal arts colleges in the country. Davidson faculty enjoy a low
faculty-student ratio, as well as an environment that honors
excellence in teaching and offers support for research. Davidson is
