Five books on how ancient Confucianism tells us to live well today

Shepherd.com is a cool website that offers many authors’ recommendations on books somehow related to their own, on a wide range of topics. I’ve recently posted a list there: Five books on how ancient Confucianism tells us to live well today. Check it out!

  1. Oh, the fun of spelling!
A little hint for the German Zwielaute ie and ei, e.g. in Heidi Giebel. Most English speaker struggle. Try the rule: the sound followd the second letter as pronounced in English: if it sounds i, i come second: eins, zwei, drei.
If it sound e, e comes second: nie, wie, Zwiebel, Ziegel and GIEBEL. Or the other way around: if e is second, the sound is e.

  2. Thank you so much for these. All of them look really interesting. It seems like it is becoming possible to study Confucianism in depth in the English language. How wonderful!!!
