The Fall 2017 issues of the various APA Newsletters have been published on-line, including the APA Newsletter on Asian and Asian-American Philosophers and Philosophies, the Table of Contents of which I post below.
A team based at the University of Oklahoma have just announced a splendid new website devoted to teaching “deviant philosophy.” It is made up of Primers, Units and Lessons, and Exercises and Activities, all designed to be incorporated into existing courses or to spur the creation of new ones. The editors are also very interested in new content, so please contribute! Their discussion of the meaning of “deviant philosophy” helps to make clear the scope of the project:

The APA’s Committee on Asian and Asian-American Philosophers and Philosophies invites proposals/abstracts for a sponsored panel on teaching Asian and/or Asian-American philosophy. The Committee is especially interested in documented, project or experience based narratives of effective teaching techniques, comparative philosophy focus in lesson plans, theoretical or practical complexities, or strategies for curricular integration in degree programs. Other topics will also be considered. The Pacific Division meetings will be held in Seattle, WA on April 12 – 15, 2o17.
